How We Got Here

Michael's been an electrician for over 20 years. He started Hometown Electrical because he wanted to run things his way: turn up on time, charge a fair price, and do the job properly. No shortcuts.

His son Alex grew up around the trade. Weekends in the van, passing tools, watching how things worked. In 2017, Alex took over the business. Same values and the same work ethic, just a younger set of hands.

Today we service all of Melbourne and regional areas. We handle residential, commercial, and industrial jobs of all sizes. Whether it's a switchboard upgrade in someone's house or wiring up a warehouse, the approach is the same: show up, do it right, clean up after ourselves.

Michael Starts His Career

Michael begins working as an electrician. Over the years he builds his experience across residential, commercial, and industrial jobs, learning the trade properly from the ground up.

2008

Hometown Electrical Is Born

Michael launches Hometown Electrical. One man, one van, and a simple idea: show up on time, do the work right, charge a fair price. Word-of-mouth does the rest.

2017

Alex Takes Over

Michael's son Alex steps up to run the business. He grew up around the trade and knows the standards his dad set. Same approach and same values, with the next generation carrying it forward.

Today

Servicing All of Melbourne & Beyond

Hometown Electrical now covers all of Melbourne and regional areas. Residential and commercial work, from small repairs to full fit-outs. Still family-run, still the same work ethic.
